Behavioral Problems

We handle behavioral issues by a developmental and safety standpoint. If the behavior is developmentally inappropriate or reoccuring we will record an incident log. Based on the log we will determine if there is a pattern that can be adjusted to fix the behavior. For instance, if the child is biting and we notice that it is always happening before snack, maybe they just need snack a little earlier. If it appears to be the environment and we have the option of changing classrooms we will talk about that as a possible solution. If we have exhausted all of our typical tips and tricks then we might require a meeting with your doctor and a week off of daycare. Sometimes just some extra attention at home can help with behavioral issues. If all of those steps still have no success and a child is injuring children or causing the program to not be able to function on it's typical schedule then we may discuss disenrollment.
Do I have to pay when my child is out sick

Childcare tuition is much like college tuition. If you are out sick you still pay for your original schedule.
What do I need to bring to daycare?

Each family will receive a Welcome letter upon enrollment. We provide all food; parents provide diapers, wipes, diaper cream, extra clothes, linens for nap time.
